Dog Hiking Franchise Hike Doggie Expands Footprint to Colorado Flatirons!
As demand for enriching outdoor experiences for dogs continues to grow, Hike Doggie is rapidly expanding its franchise footprint.
With its proven model, low-cost entry, and strong support system, the dog hiking franchise has seen increasing interest from aspiring business owners who want to turn their love for dogs and the outdoors into a rewarding career. The latest expansion into the Colorado Flatirons is just one example of how the brand is growing, bringing its unique adventure-based pet services to more communities while offering franchisees an opportunity to build their own thriving business in the pet industry.
Denver-based Hike Doggie, the first and only dog hiking franchise in the marketplace, is expanding its Colorado footprint with three new territories servicing the Boulder Flatirons. The new territories – which encompass over a dozen zip codes across Arvada, Broomfield, Boulder, Lafayette, Louisville/Superior, and Erie – will offer convenient weekly dog hiking services, created to help local pet parents keep their doggies healthy and happy while they are busy.
“There’s a significant shortage of services that provide enriching outdoor activities for dogs. There are daycares and neighborhood walking services; however, they typically do not result in a well-rounded experience,” said Matt Gray, a native of the area who will operate the territories. “I can’t wait to bring our services to the area and provide local dog parents and their dog soulmates with the enriching outdoor experiences they crave.”
Hikes will begin in late March.
Hike Doggie’s Purpose
According to Gray, Hike Doggie exists to make dogs as happy as they make us.
“In our fast-paced world, many dog parents, despite their best intentions, find themselves strapped for time, unable to consistently provide their dog soulmates with the enriching outdoor experiences they crave,” he said. “As a result, many dogs miss out on the extensive physical and mental benefits of a stimulating hike, settling instead for brief neighborhood strolls that barely scratch the surface of their adventurous spirit. Leaving their parents feeling guilty and wishing they could provide more despite their busy schedule.”
How Does Hike Doggie Work?
Pups of all sizes and personalities will be picked up in a customized Hike Doggie bus equipped with heating, A/C, a shower system and individual Zen Dens, ensuring a cozy and safe ride for every doggo. They will then be taken by certified dog hikers on a boundless two-hour adventure, unfolding on every path and trail imaginable: from serene parks and rolling hills to majestic mountains and open plains, and everything in between.
“Nature is their happy place,” said Gray. “We’ll hike in the sun, splash in streams, trek through the snow, stalk squirrels, sniff, sniff and sniff some more. And yes, pee on everything!”
The maximum number of dogs per daily hike will be 12, with four dogs per hiker. A variety of speeds will be offered to ensure each dog receives the right amount of exercise.
Post-hike, dogs will be pampered with treats and washed off and towel-dried to arrive home cuddle-ready. Parents will receive a curated photo album and a vibrant note, giving them a heartwarming window into their dog’s adventurous day.
“A regular hiking program not only keeps doggies happy and healthy, but also provides solutions to common problems at home,” noted Gray. “Hike Doggie is the perfect solution for dogs that experience boredom, loneliness, anxiety or weight issues. Our four-legged buddies deserve a life filled with exercise, dog pals, companionship and the great outdoors to explore.”
